In the Beginning

After years of working in corporate America I knew that I wanted more out of life than four walls of an office.  When a friend asked me (ok begged me) to go to a quilting class with her I reluctantly agreed and found my passion.  I was hooked!  I attended conferences, classes at multiple shops, and participated in block swaps and block of the months.  My first block of the month quilt was the ambitious Kaffe Fassett Post Card Quilt from his Quilt Road book.  Boy was it hard!  Since then I have created many more quilts for friends, family, and co-workers.

Today I continue to quilt with friends and have converted many family members to the quilting cause. 

 

 

So here we are at a crossroads – time to put all that preparation to use and begin my journey onwards to my new quilt company – Cozy Days Quilt Company.  

 

I wanted to begin with an online presence that will provide beautiful quilts as well as quilting notions, fabric, and classes.  I can’t wait to get started.  Stay tuned here for more on this journey.  You can be a part of the beginning of what I hope to be a hugely successful business venture.  The countdown begins – look for the grand opening March 1^st.  Until then check back each day for more information and some great games and prizes.
